Red Carpet Screening's First Film Festival & Exhibition Weekend!

Due to its ever increasing popularity amongst film makers and audience members, Red Carpet Screenings extended its festival to a full weekend.

Red Carpet Screenings Short Film Festival - 24th September 2010 - Central Studio Theatre Basingstoke

After the monumental success of the very first film festival, it was decided that it should become a seasonal fixture. The next film festival far surpassed the success of the first with spectacularly eclectic results.

This capacity attended event was augmented to include on-stage interviews with each film maker, as well as a beautifully enlightened final word from our guest of honour, Jo Nolan; CEO of film organisation Screen South.

The event also included exhibition stands from Screen South, Face TV, and Sardine Media offering advice on film project funding, equipment hire and studio production.

By this point, the media were really picking up on this exciting new development, with editorial coverage from Screen South, the Basingstoke Gazette, Basingstoke Observer, Kestrel FM, and now BBC Radio Berkshire! This led to Red Carpet Screening's founder and operator Seb Hall becoming a regular guest on BBC Radio Berkshire's 'Culture Panel'.
